Installation of the forward panel in position for maintenance service

1 — the Forward panel 2 — the Top cover of the engine, left 3 — the Top cover of the engine, right 4 — the Screw, 10Нм 5 — the Screw, 50Нм	3369 — service Position: Screw special tool AUDI in apertures in a bumper. Instructions: If the specified special tool available is not present, it is possible to apply 2 screws M8 х 90. Under a bolt head it is necessary to enclose washers in diameter of 24 mm and thickness of 2 mm. Besides, 2 plugs in length of 80 mm and 17 mm are necessary diameter.

At carrying out of some adjusting works, for example, with клиновым or a gear belt the forward panel should be established in position for обслуживния. Thus the panel is displaced together with a radiator forward.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect air lines (1) and (2) between the forward panel and the air filter on the forward panel (arrows on сопр. Illustrations). Remove the top cover of the engine at the left (2) and on the right (3), address to an illustration in the section beginning. Disconnect the bottom cover of the engine ahead, without removing it. For this purpose turn on only 3 screws. Remove a forward bumper, address to corresponding Section. Screw in two top apertures on the right and at the left the special tool 3369. Turn out screws (5) at the left and on the right, address to an illustration in the section beginning. Turn out screws (4) at the left and on the right. Pull forward the forward panel so that the back aperture on the panel has been closed by a forward carving aperture on a wing. In this position screw at the left and on the right a bolt (the marksman on an accompanying illustration) and fix the panel.
