Removal and installation of the fan of a radiator

Petrol engines 1.6, 1.8 l

Removal

Consolidations and sealing rings are necessarily replaced.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove a forward bumper, address to Section Removal and installation of a forward bumper. Establish the forward panel in position for servicing carrying out, address to Section Installation of the forward panel in position for maintenance service. Remove a radiator, address to corresponding Section.
    Disunite sockets (1) and (2). Take aside electric wires of the electric motor of the fan.
    Disconnect the fan of a radiator from a casing (an arrow on an accompanying illustration).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Installation is carried out in sequence, return to removal.

The diesel engine of 1.9 l

Here removal of the additional electrofan is described only. Removal of the fan with вязкостной муфтой the diesel engine of 1.9 l is described in Section Removal and installation of a gear belt, engines of 1.9 l (AVB, AWX, AVF).

All cable collars which have been removed or cut, at installation should be put on the places.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Establish the forward panel in position for servicing carrying out, address to Section Installation of the forward panel in position for maintenance service. Models with АТ: Disconnect hoses of a liquid for АТ above and in the bottom of a radiator. Merge a liquid in capacity and adhere the disconnected hoses to a longitudinal beam for prevention further вытекания liquids. Close hoses that the dirt has not got to them.
    Disunite a socket (3) to the additional fan.
    Disconnect the block of management of the additional fan (2). Disunite a socket (1) switches клапанного the lock. Take aside electric wires.
 
    Disconnect a fan casing (arrows on an accompanying illustration) and take out it.
    Disconnect the electric motor of the fan at a casing (an arrow on an illustration).

Installation

    Installation is carried out in sequence, return to removal.
